How To Root Motorola Moto G2 (2nd Gen, 2014)

When my friend asked me to root his Motorola Moto G2, I was searching for a tutorial, but unfortunately, there is no such exploit which could root Motorola Moto G2 without unlocking the phone and installing a custom recovery. I then rooted his phone after unlocking the bootloader and installing TWRP recovery. Then after flashing the rooting zip, his phone was rooted. The method is just like rooting Motorola Moto G.
Motorola Moto G and Motorola Moto G2 (2014) both cannot be rooted using any application or software because the software protection in both of the phones is too high. There is currently no way of bypassing bootloader easily. Even the famous TowelRoot, which roots Samsung Galaxy S5 without PC fails to root this phone.
Rooting cannot be done without PC because we need to flash a custom recovery. Actually you can use another phone or tablet which supports OTG cable and connect it with Motorola Moto G2 and unlock the bootloader and flash the TWRP recovery in it, but the PC method is best and most of the times you won’t notice errors like faced in OTG method. So, I won’t talk about it and will continue to root Motorola Moto G2 with PC only, but in an easy way. Both Motorola Moto G and Motorola Moto G2 has same name, but Moto G (2013) is Falon and the latest, 2014 model is named as Titanofficially, so I will use the word Titanium so that user don’t confuse between 2013 and 2014 model.
